Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art where one uses leverage and technique as opposed to brute strength to subdue an attacker. All of our classes are taught in a safe manner with the safety of our students as our number one priority. As a new student, you will learn in our fundamentals class. In the fundamentals class there is no sparring. Our main focus and emphasis is put into the basic techniques of Jiu-Jitsu to give you the foundation you need to build a simple yet effective Jiu-Jitsu game.
Our Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class is designed to go into the more advanced techniques of jiu-jitsu. In addition to the techniques, we include live drills and sparring into the training. Our NOGI Advanced class is a fast paced class focused on competition style training. We focus on various grappling techniques such as wrestling and leg lock attacks and defense.
